How it works:

Prompts & Reflection

Teens are provided with a daily journal to promote self-reflection and regulation. At the end of each week, we analyze their entries and provide data-driven insights based on their reflections for the week.

Community

Teens can select a group of friends to share their daily updates with and choose which entries to share. If they decide to share, they can also see the community post.

Learn & Play

As teens and their friends write in their journals, they receive cards to unlock real-life adventures.

Honestly, today I laughed so much the milk I was drinking came through my nose. My friend told a joke at the lunch table about the roblox party we had last night. It was nice because my day did not start out too well!

    Affirmation

“I take breaks to refuel and refocus as necessary. I take breaks to refuel and refocus as necessary.”

    For You:

I see you've had a bit of a roller coaster week, from that brave moment in art class to those struggles with concentration. It's okay to have ups and downs. Shifting your focus to passing your classes shows determination. Keep pushing forward; you've got the strength to overcome challenges! 💪

    Mindfulness

Take a few minutes to practice deep breathing or meditation. Focus on your senses and ground yourself in the present moment. This can help to de-escalate negative thoughts and emotions, bringing some calmness and clarity to your perspective.

    Physical activity:

Go for a walk, jog, or do some stretches. Physical activity releases endorphins, the feel-good chemicals in your brain, which can help to improve your mood and energy levels.

Miguel

"I wished we had more accessible options for people who don’t have privilege. There are no true teen spaces. Sometimes we see things that are really not for us. Tap In is creating that"

Shawn

“My circle remembered my game day even when my mom didn’t”

Dann

“It was helpful to tap in because it’s like someone is giving you love and support and checking in on you. Many teens don’t have that.”

Yani

'Tap In made me notice the highlight of my day. I liked the questions like “What made me laugh?”

Miracle

“I really loved journaling. Just to take that time to reflect is really helpful. The questions were uplifting.”

Lilly

"I had a game yesterday I was really nervous about. When I received the Tap In I needed it. The affirmation changed my mood."
